BALLET

I started to dance classical ballet at the age of four. It is one of my great passions and has accompanied me throughout my life. The language of dance is sublime and beautiful. Dance has taught me how to know a persons character by their movements. Dance itself has been a way of movement for me inwardly, and outwardly, and though i do not dance on stage anymore, I have a canvas which has become my new stage.

All the paintings seen here are painted with oil colors on canvas. They are dynamic and filled with life. They are allegorical and poetic, ephemeral, euphoric, melancholic, dramatic, tragic, subtle, fresh, unique and simply beautiful.

I developed a completely new way of painting for this series, which unifies the sketch and basic idea of the painting and the finished work in oil in a harmonious fashion.
